The Nokia T20 tablet was the first tablet from HMD Global to launch in Kenya. This tablet is currently available locally starting from Ksh 25,500 on Jumia and other retailers across the country. This is the first tablet from HMD Global and it has to deliver since Nokia smartphones do not seem to stand out from the competition. It does a lot to offer for a tablet under Ksh 30,000 and this is what HMD is hoping will propel the tablet to success.

The Nokia T20 was first introduced in the Kenyan market back in 2021 but we did not hear much about it till the beginning of 2022. Given that we have not seen many tablets launch locally during that period except for the Huawei MatePad that launched in Kenya last month. The MatePad is available in Kenya for Ksh 47,000. These tablets target different buyers so it is not fair to compare them.

Back to the Nokia T20, it does look promising considering some of the specs it comes with. I am definitely curious to see how it performs locally considering that the Kenyan market has not been big on tablets for years.

Have a look at the Nokia T20 specifications below.
