After weeks of waiting, the Xiaomi 12 series has today officially been unveiled. This will be the company’s flagship for 2022 and it does have the specifications and features to compete with the best smartphones out there. It can compete with the Galaxy S22 and even the iPhone 13.

The Xiaomi 12 series has two main devices that are the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The prices of the Xiaomi 12 smartphones are listed below:

    Xiaomi 12 – Ksh 85,000

    Xiaomi 12 Pro – Ksh 105,000

Xiaomi 12 should be available in Kenya on Jumia soon but we do not have the exact launch date yet.

The Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro are powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and have up to 12GB of RAM. There is the cheaper Xiaomi 12X that is powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro will get three major Android OS updates and four years of security patches. This is very impressive and is almost as good as what Samsung is offering with the Galaxy S22 SERIES
