Xiaomi is set to unveil the Xiaomi 12 globally next week. This will be the successor to the Xiaomi 11 series and it should come with some major upgrades compared to its predecessor. The Xiaomi 12 was unveiled in China a few months back and the one unveiled next week will be the global version.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Chipset
The Xiaomi 12 will be the first from the company to launch in Kenya with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Processor. This processor promises better performance in day-to-day use as well as multitasking and gaming.
The Xiaomi 12 is cooled by Xiaomi’s large VC (vapor cooling) chamber of 2600mm² paired with a graphene film. This is to ensure it does not overheat.
The phone will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM configurations with 128 or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Xiaomi 12 launch in Kenya
With the global launch happening next week, the company has revealed that the phone will be making its way to Kenya next quarter. The exact date is yet to be revealed and I will share that when I have that information.
