Xiaomi’s Mi TV P1 Series is Now Available in Kenya Starting from Ksh 27,999

MI TV P1 kenya

When Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 series in Kenya last week, the company also announced the availability of some of its TVs in Kenya.

One of these is the MI TV P1 series. There are two models available, a 32 inch and a 43 inch one. You get Android TV 9 with these TVs and this is what might set them apart from some of the other smart TVs Xiaomi hopes to compete with.

Xiaomi has had a number of smart TVs but we have just never seen the company aggressively push them in Kenya. The Mi TV P1 series should be available from Mi Home stores across the country.

Here is what you should expect to pay when you buy the Mi P1 TV.

Mi TV P1 32 inch – Ksh 27,999

Mi TV P1 43 inch – Ksh 48,999

There is a 50-inch model but it looks like Xiaomi will not be launching that in Kenya just yet.

Mi TV P1 Series Specifications

Some of the features of the Mi TV P1 Series include:

  • Android TV
  • 2GHz MSD6683 processor
  • Mali 470 MP3 GPU
  • 5GB RAM
  • 8GB storage
  • 4K HDR 10
  • 2 HDMI Ports
  • 2 USB 2.0 Ports
  • Ethernet Port
  • 360 degrees Remote
  • Chromecast built-in
  • Miracast Support
  • Google Assistant built-in

Besides the Mi TV P1 series, Xiaomi also unveiled the Mi TV 4S that is available in Kenya for Ksh 117,999 for the 65-inch model.

Mi TV 4S Specifications

Some of the features of the Mi TV 4S Series are:

  • 64-bit Quad-core MediaTek Processor
  • 4K HDR 10+, MEMC, NTSC 85%
  • 2GB RAM + 16GB Storage
  • Bluetooth Low Energy
  • Chromecast built-in
  • Voice Remote control
  • Motion smooth
  • Smart Home Hub
  • Android 9

You can get this model from Xiaomi Mi stores across the country. Out of the three models, I would choose the MI TV4S, it has a powerful processor, better display and sound. It is pricey but I believe it is worth it.
