Tecno has updated its Pova series with the launch of the Tecno Pova Neo. This phone was officially unveiled yesterday and is currently available in Nigeria but I expect it to launch in other markets in the coming weeks.

The Tecno Pova Neo comes with a massive 6,000 mAh battery and a 120Hz display. This display is quite impressive as the Pova series is meant to be an entry level line-up and we rarely see such high refresh rates on devices within this price range.

The display is a 6.8-inch LCD one with HD+ resolution. It comes with a waterdrop notch at the top and this houses the 8MP selfie camera.  At the back the Pova Neo has a 13MP main camera and a 2MP portrait lens.

Powering the Pova Neo is the MediaTek Helio P22 processor that has been paired 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. This space can be expanded using a MicroSD card if it is not enough to you.

The 6,000 mAh battery can be charged using a USB-C cable and only supports 18W charging.

As for price, the Pova Neo is available for around $175 (approximately Ksh 19,800).
