    OPPO Reno 6 5G Series Set to be Unveiled in Kenya on September 6

    All is set for OPPO to introduce its new smartphone series in Kenya. The company plans to launch the new series, the OPPO Reno 6, In Kenya on September 6.

    The Company has confirmed that it will be launching the OPPO Reno 6 5G variant in Kenya through its social media pages. It is not clear if they will only be launching the standard OPPO Reno 6 5G or if we will also see the pro version in Kenya.

    Not much was shared in terms of the price and for that we will have to wait a few more days to know.

    OPPO Reno 6 5G Specifications

    The OPPO Reno 6 5G comes with a 6.43-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek 900 processor that has been paired with 8 or 12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage space that can be expanded further using a microSD card.

    Out of the box, the Reno 6 5G runs Android 11 with ColorOS 11.

    As for the cameras, the OPPO Reno 6 5G has a triple setup at the back made up of a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Selfies can be taken using the 32MP front facing camera.

    OPPO Reno 6 5G Pro Specifications

    The OPPO Reno 6 5G Pro on the other hand comes with similar specs but there are a few differences between the two. It has a bigger 6.55-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate.

    Powering the Reno 6 5G Pro will be the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor that has been paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage space. Just like the standard Reno 6 5G, it does come with Android 11 with ColorOS 11.

    The camera setup is similar to what we get on the standard Reno 6 5G, a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro lens and another 2MP depth sensor. For selfies the Reno 6 pro has a 32MP sensor.

    Providing all the power is a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.

    OPPO Reno 6 5G Price

    OPPO is yet to officially share the pricing details but in the markets where the phone is available, it goes for around Ksh 47,000. I will update you on this if and when I get more information.
