Huawei has confirmed that it will be launching its latest wearable, the Huawei Band 6 in Kenya. This fitness band will be launching later this month and pre-orders have started today.

This fitness band was unveiled to a global audience earlier this year and it is finally making its way to Kenya. According to Huawei, this fitness band will be available in retail stores as from July 22. Before that, those who are interested in it can pre-order one from today.

Huawei has revealed that the fitness band will be available in the country for Ksh 7,000. This is quite a reasonable price and should make the band worth looking at for anyone who is on the market looking for one.

The Huawei Band 6 comes with a 1.47-inch FullView AMOLED display with a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels. It comes with UV treated silicone straps and has a single button on the right side of the frame.

Speaking of the soon to be launched HUAWEI Band 6, Country Head Jim Zhujie, said, “ With its light and comfortable wearing experience as well as its rich and practical functions, smart bands have been winning the hearts of consumers for years. Huawei’s smart bands stand out from other brands for their professional features in the field of sports and health.”

The Huawei Band 6 supports 24/7 heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, all-day blood oxygen level measurement and stress monitoring. For fitness tracking, it supports 96 workout modes to ensure you get the maximum use out of it. It also has music playback support and app alerts.

The battery life is one of its key selling points as Huawei promises 2-week battery life.

“In 2019, Huawei launched the HUAWEI Band 4, with a dazzling display that gave users a better interactive experience. It also featured a wealth of sports and health functions to help people experience the unique charm of the HUAWEI Band Series. The HUAWEI Band Series has been upgraded once again and the next generation – HUAWEI Band 6 is now available. The new generation brings a Full View design and a 14-day long battery life, as well as a comprehensive package of Huawei’s professional sports and health features,” said Huawei.

The Band supports both iOS and Android devices.
