Huawei has today announced the availability of the FreeBuds 4i in Kenya. These are the latest True Wireless Stereo earphones to launch in Kenya and will be available in three colour options of white, red and black.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4i have active noise cancellation, promise up to 10 hours of playback, touch controls among other features. The earbuds are lightweight and have an ergonomic design that makes them comfortable to use for long.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4i will be available for Kshs 9,999 in all retail stores across the country including Safaricom outlets. These earbuds have been available on pre-order in Kenya for about a week and those who were not able to do so can buy them right now.

Huawei FreeBuds 4i specifications and features

The Huawei FreeBuds 4i support Bluetooth 5.2 and have active noise cancellation. They also have a dual microphone setup for noise reduction during calls. They also support touch input so you can double tap to control your music, answer or reject calls, long press to navigate between noise reduction, ambient sound transmission and off mode.

The dual microphones of these earbuds can accurately pick up human voices. When the case is opened, the earbuds can quickly connect to previously paired devices. This means that you can just open the case and put the earbuds in your ears and they will have connected to a previously paired device by the time you do that. These earbuds also come with low latency for gaming.

For the battery, the earbuds have 55mAh units while the charging case has a 215mAh battery. With active noise cancellation, the earbuds can last for up to 7.5 hours and expect up to 10 hours with noise cancellation off. The earbuds can be charged in about an hour when in the case and the case itself can be charged in about an hour and a half.
