The Samsung Galaxy A32 is one of the latest from the company to launch in Kenya. The phone is currently available in the country starting from Ksh 26,000. This is a reasonable price considering what the phone has to offer even when compared to the competition.

I have had the Galaxy A32 for a while and thought I should highlight some of the key things I love for anyone who may be considering this phone. Besides the GalaxyA32, the other two devices in the Galaxy A series that the company launched include the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72. Both of these are available for much higher prices than the A32.

The Galaxy A32 is on your list if you are looking for a good smartphone under Ksh 30,000 and on the same list you may have some of the recent devices from OPPO, Xiaomi, Nokia and a few others.

    Build Quality

One of the things I loved about the Galaxy A32 is its build quality. The phone feels well built even with its plastic back cover. I got the white variant that looks stunning to say the least. If this is not your colour, you can get the A32 in black or blue.

The phone is not heavy and is easy to hold even with one hand. The back cover is glossy and this looks good on the white variant. On the front we have an all glass with a plastic frame and the plastic back that we have already mentioned. Even with all the plastic on the phone, the A32 does not look or feel cheap.

    Display

I have always been a fan of Samsung’s AMOLED displays and that is what we are getting on the Galaxy A32. This display is sharp and crisp with a 1080 by 2400-pixel resolution. If you are into media consumption or just like a good and sharp display, this one will be perfect for you.

This display has a 90Hz refresh rate that may not be as high as 120Hz but is still good enough for most people.

    Performance

The Samsung Galaxy A32 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor that the company has paired with either 4 or 6GB of RAM with either 64 or 128GB of storage. I got the 6GB RAM model with 128GB of storage space.

Performance has been good so far with not issues at all. The phone handles demanding tasks and games with ease and I have been impressed every single time.

    Cameras

With the Samsung Galaxy A32, you are getting a total of 5 cameras, 4 at the back and 1 for selfies. At the back we have a 64MP main sensor that takes really good shots in different lighting conditions. The back camera also records clear videos at 1080p.

The other cameras at the back include an 8MP ultrawide lens, 5MP macro lens and a 5MP depth sensor.

For selfies, we have a 20MP wide angle lens that is quite good. The shots you get are vibrant and clear even when the lighting is not so good.

    Battery’

The Samsung Galaxy A32 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery that should be enough for most people for an entire day. This is what I managed to get and most times I did get home with some left. If you are not always on your phone, you can get this to last even longer.

    Samsung Galaxy A32 kenya

The Galaxy A32 supports 15W fast charging which is the disappointing bit as you will need time to charge it fully if it is running low.
