Infinix has today announced the availability of its latest smartphones, the Infinix Hot 10T, in Kenya. This is the latest in the Hot 10 series whose first devices first hit retail shelves back in 2020.
Infinix says the Hot 10T offers the “Ultimate Smartphone Entertainment Experience”. This is the third iteration in the Infinix Hot 10 series with the other two being quite decent phones offering good value for money. I have used both phones with the most recent ones being the Infinix Hoy 10 Play that I used not so long ago.
According to Infinix, the Hot 10T reflects its customer-centric nature and shows its commitment towards designing products that are the best fit for its young target group. I have the device in for review and I can say I am impressed so far, it feels well built and quite an upgrade compared to its predecessors.
Infinix Hot 10T Specifications
The Infinix Hot 10T comes with a 6.82-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This is quite a jump for Infinix considering the price of this phone. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 processor that clocks at 2GHz and is a processor that has been optimized for gaming and highly demanding tasks.
I am curious to see how this processor will handle games such as PUBG and Asphalt 9 and will share the same in the full review. This is not a gaming phone but if it proves to be reliable in that sector, it might just be the phone to get within this price.
To provide all the power is a 5,000 mAh battery which is not the biggest we have seen on a smartphone but still good enough for most users. With this battery, you can use the phone for an entire day without worrying about it running out of charge.
The Infinix Hot 10T comes with DTS audio processing technology that promises a truly immersive audio-experience. The company says, “this will allow users to enjoy better audio quality and even personalize sound effects while watching their favorite movies, listening to music, or playing games.”
The star of the show on the Infinix Hot 10T for me is the 48MP triple camera setup at the back. “With a pixel size of 1.6um on HOT 10T, takes fantastic photos in all hours of the day. Compared with the previous generation of HOT series phone’s photosensitive elements, the area of light input has been increased by 90% on HOT 10T.” the company said in a statement.
Price and Availability
The Infinix Hot 10T will be available in two variants, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with the other one with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 4/64GB variant will be available for Ksh 15,499 while the 4/128GB variant will be available for Ksh 17,499. Both variants will be available in all authorized Infinix outlets countrywide.
