The Nokia 1.4 Goes on Sale in Kenya for Ksh 12,500

HMD Global has announced the availability of its latest entry-level smartphone, the Nokia 1.4, in the Kenyan market. The Nokia 1.4 is the Successor to the Nokia 1.3 and comes with some key upgrades including a better cameras, bigger battery and more RAM and storage options.

Speaking on the Nokia 1.4, Gopher Ogembo, Senior Business Manager Kenya & East Africa, HMD Global said “We wanted to create a reliable and enjoyable experience that truly benefits all family members without adding to any household financial pressures.”

At Ksh 12,500, the Nokia 1.4 is reasonably priced but will be competing with some equally as good phones from brands like Infinix, Tecno, vivo just to name a few.
The Nokia 1.4 comes with a dual rear camera setup which will be seen as a major upgrade for the photography aspect of this smartphone line. In this setup, we are getting an 8MP primary camera and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, the phone has a 5MP selfie shooter.

Nokia 1.4 price and Availability in Kenya

The Nokia 1.4 as we have mentioned above will be available in Kenya for Ksh 12,500. This will be the price for the 2GB RAM variant with 32 GB of internal storage space.

The phone will be available in smartphone retail outlets including Safaricom shops in Charcoal, Dusk and Fjord colours.

Nokia 1.4 specifications

The Nokia 1.4 comes with a 6.52 inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 X 1600 pixels. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of space. The storage space can be expanded further using a microSD card.

Providing all the power is a 4,000 mAh battery.
