Huawei first released EMUI 11 back in September with some key upgrades even as its business faced uncertainties thanks to the US government restrictions. The company was not slowed down with these restrictions and rolled announced EMUI 11 back in September adding new features including the animated always-on display, upgrades to the split-screen among others.

Some Huawei phones are already running the beta version of EMUI 11 but the stable version is yet to roll out.

According to Huawei, the stable version will start rolling out soon and will be completed by the first quarter of 2021. The company will push out the update to users across the world except the US for obvious reasons.

The first devices scheduled to get this update are the Huawei Mate 30 and P40 series. These should get the update next month.
