Showmax and Telkom Kenya have announced a new partnership that will see Telkom Kenya subscribers who buy select bundles get Showmax Pro subscription for a month. Showmax Pro is the company’s latest offering that adds live TV and sports to the streaming platform. This service has been available for a few months in Kenya and a few other countries.
Through this new partnership, those who buy the 30GB and 45GB data bundles from Telkom will get one-month subscription to stream Showmax Pro on their mobile devices.
This new offer is available to new and returning Showmax subscribers on the Telkom network. There are some conditions though as they are listed below.
- A 30GB data bundle + 1-month Showmax Pro Mobile subscription for KSh1500 to stream Showmax Pro Mobile for up to 10 hours per day on a mobile device with a 1GB daily allocation.
- A 45GB data bundle + 1-month Showmax Pro Mobile subscription for KSh2000 to stream Showmax Pro for up to 15 hours per day, on a mobile device with a 1.5GB daily allocation.
As you see, you are not free to stream Showmax anytime but to be honest, 10 hours of streaming per day is enough for most people. Also, the service is for streaming Showmax on your mobile device.
This offer is valid from today to 16 January 2021.

How do I get the offer?
- The deal can only be purchased via Mpesa or TCash on the Telkom app or via USSD.
- Dial *544# and select Showmax Bundle – Buy via Mpesa.
- Choose your bundle.
- Put in your Telkom number.
- You’ll receive an STK prompt to put in your Mpesa PIN.
- You’ll receive an SMS notification from Mpesa, followed by an SMS from Telkom with your bundle details, and one with the Showmax Pro Mobile voucher.
