Infinix is back with yet another device. The newest addition to the portfolio is Infinix Smart 5. The Infinix Smart 5 is an entry-level device meant to offer just enough and to compete with its peers in the category fairly.

The Infinix Smart 5 comes in two variants; a 2GB/32GB option and a 3GB/64GB model. It features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution with a notch which takes care of the 8MP selfie camera.

The back offers more lenses, in contrast. There’s a total of three; a 13MP primary camera aided by two QVGA lenses. Compared to Infinix Smart 4, Infinix Smart 5 has a wider camera bump housing the three camera lenses and an LED flash.

Stocking 2GB/3GB of memory, Infinix opted to use Android 10 Go Edition for better resource management. Besides, the processor clocks at a base frequency of 1.8GHz, so using Android GO Edition means better performance when handling tasks.

The phone’s strong proposition is the massive 5,000mAh battery, but it only supports standard 10W charging via the available micro-USB port.

The Infinix Smart 5 also includes microSD card support up to 256GB, a headphone jack, fingerprint sensor, dual SIM slots, Bluetooth and 4G support.

Infinix has not yet revealed the pricing, but the phone has been listed on the company’s website in some countries. Locally, the company is yet to officially introduce the device.
