    Vivo V19 Launched in Kenya: Specifications, Price and Features

    The Vivo V19 is the latest mid-range smartphone to launch in Kenya. This phone is now available in Kenya for Ksh 41,000. The phone has been available on pre-order in the country for almost 3 weeks and you can now get it from smartphone retailers across the country.

    Just like its predecessor, the vivo V17 series, the vivo V19 brings impressive cameras and premium design language to the mid-range segment. For selfies, the vivo 19 has a dual-lens set-up housed in the punch-hole above the display.

    In Kenya, the vivo V19 will be available in two colour options of Gleam Black and Sleek Silver options. The phone has gone on sale today but it is yet to be listed on online platforms such as Jumia.

    The vivo V19 comes with a 6.44-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor. It is available in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.

    “Having the device available in the market will now have Kenyans access our products at their convenience, which is in line with our vision of providing every Kenyan with affordable yet sophisticated devices with a great experience,” vivo Kenya CEO Arthur Xian quoted. 

    The vivo V19 comes with a total of 6 cameras, 4 at the back and 2 in front. The quad camera setup at the back is made up of a 48MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie set-up is made up of a 32MP and 8MP sensors.

    Just like all other new vivo smartphones, the vivo V19 comes with Funtouch OS 10 which is based on Android 10. It has a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. According to vivo, the fast charging feature lets you charge the phone from 0 to 54 percent charge in just 30 minutes.
