    In case you missed it; Apple has unveiled the newest version of its software for the iPhone dubbed iOS 14. iOS 14 like previous iOS versions will be rolled out by the company after beta testing first.

    Custom to the iOS upgrade cycle, iOS 14 ships with a number of new features. Here are some of the most notable ones;

    • App Library
    • New redesigned Widgets
    • Picture in picture
    • Pinned conversations and new group features in iMessage
    • App Clips and more

     You can read more about these features in our Apple WWDC 2020 all software features announced roundup article.

    Next up, moving to the most important part of the whole iOS 14 update is how you will be able to get the software. As usual, you have to own some predetermined devices that the company will ship updates for.

    Here are all iOS 14 compatible iPhones:

    • iPhone 6s & iPhone 6s Plus
    • iPhone SE & iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus
    • iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus
    • iPhone X
    • iPhone XR & iPhone XS & iPhone XS Max
    • iPhone 11 & iPhone 11 Pro & iPhone 11 Pro Max

    The final iOS 14 release is expected to be later in September if the company maintains its usual launch dates.
