The OPPO A92 is Available on Pre-order in Kenya for Ksh 30,000

OPPO A92

OPPO’s latest smartphone, the OPPO A92, is now available on pre-order in Kenya. Those interested in this phone can get one for Ksh 29,999 through e-commerce platform, Jumia. The pre-order period runs till the 4th of June with the first sale expected the following day.

The OPPO A92 will be a direct competitor to the Huawei Nova 7i. Both of these are new releases to the Kenyan market and it will be interesting to see how they perform.

Those who pre-order the OPPO A92 through Jumia will get a backpack for free. Not necessarily the best free accessory but it is better than nothing.

The OPPO A92 comes with the Snapdragon 665 processor and has a massive 5,000 mAh battery. We are used to seeing such big batteries on cheaper phones but it looks like that will be changing. OPPO is launching the A92 in Kenya after the Reno 3 which I am still reviewing and so far I love it.

The Oppo A92 Specifications

The OPPO A92 comes with a 6.5-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution and a hole punch to house the selfie camera. As I have mentioned above, it is powered by the Snapdragon 665 processor that has been paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space. The phone comes with Android 10 out of the box with ColorOS 7.1 on top.

As for the camera, the OPPO A92 comes with a quad setup at the back made up of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and two 2MP sensors. For selfies, it is a 16 MP shooter in the punch hole cut out.

The Phone has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging.

OPPO Wireless Earphones

Besides the OPPO A92, the OPPO Enco True Wireless Earphones are also available on pre-order through Jumia for Ksh 8,000. These are also the company’s new wireless earbuds that you can also get in Kenya.
