Xiaomi’s Sub-brand Redmi is already geared up to launch its next smartphone this month. The new series of devices, Redmi Note 9, succeeds Remi Note 8 series devices, which were launched last year.
The launch will be happening first in India, Redmi’s biggest market. According to Redmi India’s official twitter account, the launch will be happening on March 12th.
One notable feature about the new devices is the quad-camera setup, which is placed in a square camera bump. The company says the new devices will offer fast charging, immersive gaming experience, a powerful processor, and premium design. And one of the vital smartphone elements – camera – is also included in the package. In its teaser posters, Xiaomi has added a hashtag # ProCamerasMaxPerformance.
Xiaomi’s Global VP and Xiaomi India’s MD, Manu Kumar Jain, also teased the phone showcasing its live image from a distance that only reveals the presence of a USB Type C port, a headphone jack, and a speaker grill all placed on the bottom.
