Earlier today, Xiaomi officially announced the availability of the Redmi Note 8 in Kenya. This is the latest from the company to officially go in sale in Kenya and you can get it from Jumia starting from Ksh 18,999 for the 3GB + 32GB model. There are different other models available to choose from at different prices. The 4GB + 64GB model is available for Ksh 19,999 and the 4GB + 128GB model is available for Ksh 21,699.

The one stand out feature on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 is the quad-camera setup with a 48MP main camera. This is not the first time we are seeing a 48MP camera on a smartphone from Xiaomi but it is still impressive. As for the other sensors, we get an 8MP and two 2MP sensors.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 was unveiled to a global audience back in August and I was equally surprised and excited that the company launched it in the country this fast. Most manufacturers will take their sweet time to launch devices locally and seeing this change is a good thing.

Below are some of the key specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and its price in Kenya.
