Already heard the Galaxy Fold misfortunes? Here is another one to be added on that list. Even though the Galaxy Fold was redesigned, tested, and retested over and over again, one reviewer’s piece has not been all well. And that is another bummer to Samsung in their quest to relaunch the “redesigned” Galaxy Fold.

According to TechCrunch’s editor, his Galaxy Fold review unit spoiled after one day of use – after about 27 hours to be specific. But the display did not destroy badly like in the original version of the Fold. According to the reviewer, the Galaxy Fold display did not break. Instead, it developed a large cluster of pixels broken pixels.

In a statement he says that he pulled out the device from his pocket, “opened it up and spotted something new nestled between the lock screen’s flapping butterfly wings. There was a brightly colored, amorphous blob.” It is important to point out that this is an isolated incident and not the same as the previous issues we saw with the device.

Brian Heater says the issue might have arisen by pressing too firmly on the display while closing it. Well, we shall have to wait for Samsung’s clarification on that. The company has already taken the device to analyze what might have been the problem.

However, the company said that users should read the care instructions that ships together with the Galaxy Fold.

Samsung has already given out warnings on how the Fold should be handled. The company warned against applying excessive pressure to it, placing objects before closing it, exposure to dust or water and even slapping your own screen protector on top of the flexible display.
