Late last month, we told you about the Infinix Hot 8 that the company is planning to launch in the country later this year. We came to this conclusion after seeing the retail box for the device. The Hot 8 has already been launched in some markets but we are yet to get it in Kenya. We will get it here at some point so no need to panic yet.

The Infinix Hot 8 is an entry-level device just like the previous ‘Hot’ devices from the company. The price in Kenya has not been revealed but in other markets it is available for $97 (approximately Ksh 10,100). For comparison, its predecessor, the Infinix Hot 7, is available on Jumia for Ksh 10,200, around the same range as the Hot 8. Check out the Infinix Hot 8 unboxing video below.

With the Hot 8, the company has improved greatly on the specifications and I am impressed so far. I never expect Infinix Hot devices to surprise me in any way but the Hot 8 does, at least on paper. Check out the specifications below.
