The Nokia 1 Plus Will Be Launched in Kenya This Week

Nokia 1 Plus

Unveiled at MWC 2019, the Nokia 1 Plus is finally making its way to Kenya this week. The price is still unknown but it should be available for Ksh 10,000 or somewhere around there.

The Nokia 1 Plus is replacing the Nokia 1 from last year that you can get in Kenya for as low as Ksh 5,800. Compared with the original Nokia 1, the Nokia 1 Plus comes with a bigger display and feels much better in my opinion.

It has a polycarbonate build that is better than what the Nokia 1 had. It feels much better and its big size is one of its key upgrades. With a bigger display, you are able to get more done and is perfect for media consumption.

The 8MP rear facing camera has autofocus, LED flash and color-adaptive noise reduction for smoother images while keeping the great details. The selfie camera has a beauty mode to enhance your natural features by smoothing out your face and showing your brightest side

As for the software, the Nokia 1 Plus comes with Android Pie (Go Edition) out of the box and is scheduled to get Android Q and R when they are available. It will also get monthly security updates.

Below are some of the key specifications of the Nokia 1 Plus.

Display Size: 5.45 inches with a resolution of 960 X 480 Pixels
