Why LG’s CineBeam Projector is my Ultimate Valentines gift

I have to start with a disclaimer that I currently own a television set, to be precise an LG 55 inch 4K OLED TV.

However, my life journey of embracing minimalism has made me to start thinking of how to enjoy life with less. In addition, no, minimalism does not mean that I give away everything that I own and remain with very few. Minimalism is intentionally acquiring and living with the things that you value most and need the most while removing everything else.

As I embarked on decluttering my house, I observed that I have a TV stand that holds now-almost obsolete music CDs, two fake flowers, my LG TV and home theatre. When I went to the carpenter to get the fittings of the TV stand, it made perfect sense but now, I find no value for it. I am selling it. Moreover, when the TV stand goes, the TV must go too.

You see I have always had the dream of having a cinema kind of feeling at my home. I initially thought of purchasing a normal project but was informed that I require a technician to come to my home to fix it.

This is where my dream LG CineBeam Laser 4K projector comes in.

Delivering 2,500 ANSI lumens and 4K UHD resolution, the CineBeam projects bright and clear images while taking up minimal space in one’s living room. The compact size of the projector means that it can be placed literally anyway – wall, ceiling, floor – and still project stunningly sharp 4K images.

The makers promise large, bright 120-inch images when places 7 inches away from the way. Now that is an extra 65 inches from my current TV. The simplicity of the product ensures that one experiences a cinema ambience while relaxing at home.

“Thanks to our newest projector, consumers can transform an entire living room to a 4K screen courtesy of our “Ultra Short Throw” technology,” says LG East Africa Assistant Manager Marketing & Corporate Communications, Ms. Maureen Kemunto.

With android boxes catching up in Kenya, you do not need to worry. The CineBeam embraces smart technology and provides numerous connectivity options to enable one stream movies and shows – including the upcoming Season 8 Game of Thrones.

For the lovers of smart technology, the CineBeam has inbuilt AI technology that enables owners to use voice commands. Imagine telling the projector “Thor” or “Arnold Schwarzenegger” and it brings you the list of all his shows and movies. Not only, it be voice activated by it comes with the magic remote that recognizes gestures and features backlit buttons for easy navigation, which turn on automatically when motion is detected.

This my friends is why LG CineBeam Laser 4K is my ultimate Valentine’s tech gift.

I do not want any flowers or fancy dinners.
