The Tecno Camon 11 Pro has been launched in Kenya today together with the Tecno Camon 11. These are the latest camera-centric devices from the company to be launched in the country after a week-long pre-order period.
The Tecno Camon 11 Pro comes with slightly better specifications when compared to the standard Camon 11 and as expected, it comes with a slightly higher price. You will be able to get both these phones in retail stores and on Jumia as from today. This phone clearly competes with the Huawei Y9 2019 as you will see in the specifications below. Which one should you go for? Well, I will have to use this phone to determine that.

As you can see, the Camon 11 Pro is all about the selfie camera. This has always been the case with Tecno Camon devices and is the case with the 11 Pro. The phone competes directly with the Huawei Y9 2019 and they are all retailing at around the same price.
Huawei has been very aggressive with the Y9 2019 and I am still not sure if Tecno will compete with that. Only time will tell which company ends up dominating this segment but in the end, the customers are the ones who will end up winning.
I still do not have the Tecno Camon 11 Pro to review but if I get it, I will definitely compare it against the Huawei Y9 2019 to see which one offers value for money.
