The Tecno Camon 11 Will Be Launched in kenya This Month

Tecno Camon 11

Tecno is set to launch its third Camon device this year, the Tecno Camon 11, in Kenya. Tecno has not been aggressive this year with its smartphones and the one that stands out so far if the Tecno Spark 2 that offers great value for money and I included it in my list of the top 5 phones to get during Jumia Mobile week.

Back to the Tecno Camon 11, should be up for pre-order in select Tecno and Telkom stores from Monday according to sources. It is not clear how long the pre-order period will be but I don’t expect it to be long and we should see this phone in retail stores by the end of the month or early next month.

Below are some of the specifications we are expecting to see on the Tecno Camo 11. None of these specifications have been confirmed by Tecno by the way.

Display Size: 6.2 inches with a resolution of 1500 × 720 pixels

Processor: 2.0GHz Quad-core Mediatek MT6761

RAM: 3/4GB

Storage Space: 32/64 GB, can be expanded using a microSD card

GPU: unknown

Android Version: Android 8.1 Oreo

Main Camera: 13MP + 2MP

Selfie Camera: 16MP

Battery: 3750 mAh battery

These are the specs we expect to see, if anything changes, I will update this post with the new specifications. With that said, keep coming back to learn more about the Tecno Camon 11 as information keeps trickling in.

Besides the standard Camon 11, there will be the Tecno Camon 11 Pro that will have 6GB of RAM and a 24MP selfie camera. As for price, I expect the Camon 11 to start around Ksh 17,000 (as the Camon X) while the Camon 11 Pro will be higher than that, probably competing with the Huawei Y9 2019 which is available for Ksh 24,000.
