Samsung is currently working on its 2017 devices that it hopes will help it rise out of the ashes of the disaster that was the Galaxy Note 7. The company is not just working on high end devices as it is also planning to upgrade its entry level, J-series.

One of the devices we expect to see from Samsung very soon is the Galaxy J3 (2017). We have seen this device a couple of times on Geekbench and when it got the Bluetooth certification from the FCC.

The Galaxy J3 (2017) has shown up once again and this time courtesy of @evleaks on Twitter.

The photo shared by @evleaks is the official press image and shows that this device is not that different from the J3 (2016). This is not a completely new device but it’s a slightly upgraded J3 (2016) so we were not surprised there.

Some of the specs we expect on the J3 (2017) includes a Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and will run on Android Marshmallow.
