LG has today announced the addition of four new smartphones to join its X family. These devices are the LG X mach, X style, X max and X Power. These four devices join the already existing X devices, the X cam and the X screen.

According to LG, the X power, X mach, X style and X max have some of the specs you can find on the company’s flagship, G and V series. This shows you that the company is targeting those who wish to have the flagship devices but may not be able to get them for one reason or the other.

The official statement for LG reads in part, “Each new device in the X series lineup have a unique feature which is matched to a specific user need or interest, such as greater battery capacity, faster processor, more sophisticated styling or a larger display.” The company went ahead to say that the phones will be available in markets around the world later this month. LG has not revealed how much they will be retailing at.

    The LG X Style

The X Style comes with a 5.3 inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz, 64-bit quad core Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM, Adreno 306 GPU and 16GB of internal storage space that can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

This phone has an 8MP camera at the back with a 5MP front facing one for all your selfies and video calls. As expected, it comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports 4G LTE. Providing all the juice is a 2,100 mAh battery.

The LG X Power also has a 5.3 inch display with the same resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It comes with a 1.1 GHz quad-core (64 bit) MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, Mali-T720 GPU and 16GB of internal storage space that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

For the camera, it gets an upgraded 13MP unit at the back with an 8MP front facing one. This phone also comes with Android Marshmallow, supports 4G LTE and a 4,100 mAh battery. This is quite some power right there.

    LG X Mach

The LG X Mach on the other hand has a 5.5 inch display with a Quad HD resolution (2560×1440 pixels). It is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space that can be expanded using a microSD card.

This phone has a 12.3MP camera at the back with an 8MP front facing one. It also comes with Android Marshmallow and supports 4G LTE but LG has reduced battery capacity to 3,000 mAh.

LG has not given out the specs of the X Max and all we know is that it will come with a 6 inch display.

We will know more about these devices including their prices in a few weeks.
