    Safaricom Are the Title Sponsors of The BAKE Awards 2016

    The Bloggers Association of Kenya has announced that Safaricom will be the title sponsors of the BAKE Awards 2016.  Safaricom joins a few other companies that will be sponsoring the 2016 edition of the Awards and these include EatOut Kenya, Xpose, Samsung and Coca Cola. The Gala event to announce the 2016 winners will be taking place on 7th May at Radisson Blu Hotel.

    This is not the first time Safaricom is sponsoring the BAKE Awards as the company did so for three consecutive years in 2012, 2013, 2014, skipped 2015 and is back in 2016.

    Commenting on this, BAKE chairman, Kennedy Kachwanya said, “It is great to have Safaricom come on board as this year’s title sponsors. Their support over the years has been unwavering and it is even more significant since this is an organization that understands and appreciates the important role played by content creators and the online space in the advancement of our community.”

    As for the voting phase, you have till 1st May to vote for your favorite blog. Some of the tech blogs nominated this year are:
