No matter what you think of Apple, one thing you have to agree with me is that the company has some of the most loyal fans who have helped it reach where it is. With just one (just recently two) smartphones every year, the company has managed to keep its competitors, especially Samsung, on their toes.

Apple has continued with its impressive sales results even as other companies saw slowed growth. The company revealed that in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2015, it managed to record a net profit $11.1 billion up from $8.5 billion during the same period last year.

As for the revenue, Apple earned $51.5 billion during Q4 of 2015 up from $42.5 billion earned during the same time last year. As you can see, Appleā€™s profit rose by almost a third from the same time last year while revenue grew by a quarter.

For actual sales figures, Apple revealed that it managed to sell 48 million iPhones, 9.8 million iPads and over 5.7 million Macs. The impressive figures for Macs can be attributed to the all-new Mac Book for 2015 that Apple launched a few months ago.

Going forward, Apple expects to record even better results this quarter as it revealed that it expects total revenue to be between $75.5 billion and $77.5 billion. With the new iPhones already out there, Apple may be able to reach these figures easily.
