Google Play, the official online store for Android apps allows people to get the apps they need for a better mobile experience. Google Play is extremely popular but unfortunately it is still not available to everyone. Google is always trying to expand the availability of the play store to more markets and the new entrant into the list is Sudan.

Google announced this last week through its Google Plus account. In the statement, the company said,

“As part of a commitment to helping more people around the globe use technology to communicate, find and create information, we’re announcing the availability of free apps and games on +Google Play in Sudan for the first time!”

The availability of Google play in Sudan is a good move but users will only be able to download free apps for now. This means that they won’t be able to download paid apps even if they want to. Sudan is not the only country where users can’t download paid apps. Other countries include China, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar among others.
