The LG G4 was a flagship meaning that not everyone could afford it. LG knows this and that is why it has unveiled the LG G4 Beat which is a mid-range brother of the premium LG G4.

The LG G4 Beat is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (a nice gesture) coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM. Storage is sort of limited at only 8GB but the good thing is that it can be expanded using a MicroSD Card.

The LG G4 Beat has a 5.2 inch Full HD LCD display that makes it a little bit smaller than the G4 flagship that has a 5.5 inch display. The phone is running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with LG UX 4.0 on top.

At the back of the LG G4 Beat sits an 8MP camera with laser Auto Focus while at the front sits a 5MP snapper for selfies.

The LG G4 Beat will first be rolled out in Europe and Latin America before other markets. It will be available in Metallic Silver, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold. LG has not revealed the price for the G4 Beast yet.

Confident With LG G4 Sales

LG was pretty confident with the launch of the G4 and the company was and still is expecting positive sales figures by the end of the year. The company went ahead to reveal that it was expecting to sell over 1 million units by the end of the year. LG hopes that the G4 Beat will achieve the same figures as its premium brother the LG G4.
