To directly compete with the Galaxy Note series, LG has finally announced the LG G3 stylus enabled Smartphone. The company has announced this device ahead of the IFA where we expect Samsung to unveil the Galaxy Note 4. This is a good strategy for LG and may just turn out to be beneficial to them.

The LG G3 Stylus is all about the size with a 5.5-inch qHD (quarter, not quad) display with the same design as the LG G3. What sets the G3 stylus from the G3 is basically the stylus pen included for effortless doodling, jotting and sketching with precision. LG has preloaded a number of apps in the G3 Stylus to make use of the pen.

LG has also taken time to skin the Android version on the G3 Stylus to include features such as the Smart Keyboard, Knock Code headlining and QuickMemo+.

The other specs in the LG G3 Stylus are similar to the initial G3 and include a 13MP rear camera with proprietary UX features such as Touch & Shoot and Gesture Shot, 3,000 mAh battery too, a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, 8GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM.

This phone is targeting the 3g markets and will start is with Brazil in September while Asia, the Middle East and Africa will see the device at a later date. It will be available in Black, White, and Gold. Pricing detail will be confirmed when LG unveils the device officially next month at the IFA.
