The Galaxy S5 has been in retail stores for less than a month but Samsung is confident the sales figures will be great.

One of the company’s senior VP Yoon Han-kil told Reuters that they expect sales figures of the Galaxy S5 to surpass last year’s flagship, the Galaxy S4. This comes less that a day after a report from The Korean Times revealed that Samsung is expected to ship 35 Million Galaxy S5 Smartphones between April and June this year.

The Galaxy S5 was launched in double the number of markets that Galaxy S4 was launched in, this is probably why Samsung is confident its going to get better sales figures. The Galaxy S5 is currently available in 125 countries globally.

Yoon also talked about an upcoming Samsung Smartphone that will be powered by Tizen. He said that the phone will be available in the second quarter of this year. A new android powered Smartwatch by Samsung was also discussed as well as a new Galaxy Note device.
