Sony recently announced the Xperia Z1 compact, a mini version of the Xperia Z1 with the same flagship specs. You can read all about the Xperia Z1 Compact here.
The Xperia Z1 Compact will be launched in China as the Xperia Z1 Colourful Edition instead of Compact. Even with a change in name, the device still packs the same flagship specs of the Z1 Compact.
The specs of this device include a a Snapdragon 800 processor, 4.3″ 720p Trilumino will s display, 20.7 Megapixel camera and will also have dust and water protection. The Xperia Z1 colourful edition will run on Android 4.3 Jelly bean with the option of upgrading to KitKat. Unlike the global version, the Chinese Z1 Compact will not have LTE support.
The Xperia Colourful Edition will be launched in late February retailing at €485 (approximately Kshs. 57, 000). It will be available in black, white, lime and pink flavours.
