Apple seems not only interested on the wearable electronic market like their much talked about iWatch but they have now set their eyes into our living rooms. Here they will have to battle it out with other diversified manufactures doing well in different fields such as Sony and LG that are already in the mobile and living room electronics with Sony also expected in the smart watch business really soon. There have been plenty of rumors and reports about how and when it’s going to happen. The TV set is expected to be out for sale mostly in the fourth quarter and is expected to retail for $1,500 to $2,500.

Apple already has “Apple TV,” although it is not a TV as such but rather but it’s a small box that connects to a TV to display movies and shows from iTunes. It is the policy of Apple to keep mum on their future products thought before Steve jobs passed on he had promised to revolutionize TV. This lead to a lot of speculations about their TV with expectations falling for its launch last year.

The “iTV” is expected to be 60 inches on the diagonal, but 50-inch and 55-inch versions might also be expected. It will also be accompanied by a production, by Apple, of a small “iRing” that fits on the viewer’s finger, allowing the user to control the screen by pointing. This means that the ‘iRing’ will act as the remote for the ‘iTV’ and being a smart TV you can be sure it will do more than just show the TV stations and the movies thus the controller will come in handy when doing other things such as maybe surfing with it.

In addition, the set will come with tablet-like “mini iTVs” with 9.7-inch screens, the same as the full-size iPad. The “iTV” will be able to send video to the smaller screens wirelessly around the house. This means that you will be able to view what is on the’ iTV’ remotely.
