Family Bank Group has posted a Kshs 2.32 billion Profit Before Tax in the first six months of 2024. This is a remarkable 15.4% increase compared to Kshs 2.0 billion registered in the same period in 2023. The growth in profitability was mainly driven by an increase in the bank’s revenues amid a tough operating environment. Bayobab Kenya has announced the completion of a long-distance fibre network that is set to connect Mombasa to Malaba and Busia. iColo has today announced the installation of solar panels at its facilities in Kenya, making it one of the greenest global connectivity hubs in the country. Absa Bank Kenya has reported profit after tax of Kshs10.7 billion for the half year ended 30 June 2024. This is a 29% increase over the same period last year.
