Epson has expanded its regional presence in Kenya with a new Nairobi office.
The expanded Nairobi facility includes a dedicated showroom and demonstration area, where customers and partners can experience Epson’s latest technologies. The facility will also support training, partner enablement and in-market services.
“Our new office here in Nairobi is a good example of what our commitment to customers looks like in practice,” said Mukesh Bector, Epson’s Regional Head for East and West Africa.
Epson increases focus on sustainability
The Nairobi expansion is also part of Epson’s wider regional growth and sustainability strategy.
Epson has extended its use of renewable energy certificates (RECs) to cover 10 sites across the region, including its Kenya operations. Between March 2025 and April 2026, the company purchased 416 MWh of RECs to match the combined electricity consumption of these sites.
The initiative forms part of Epson’s Environmental Vision 2050, which targets carbon negativity and zero underground resource consumption by 2050.
“Sustainability is central to our growth strategy,” said Neil Colquhoun, President of Epson META-CWA, adding that the company’s focus on efficient engineering aligns its environmental goals with business expansion.
New Epson products coming to Kenya
Epson is also highlighting its latest FY26 product portfolio in the Kenyan market.
The new EcoTank printer range is positioned around lower running costs and energy efficiency, with Epson claiming up to 90% savings on ink costs, up to three years of printing without a refill and up to 20% faster colour printing. The printers use Epson’s Micro Piezo Heat-Free technology, which the company says can use up to 96% less energy than traditional thermal inkjet technology.
The company is also introducing two portable entertainment projectors: LifeStudio POP, aimed at young adults and gaming and LifeStudio Flex, a premium portable projector designed for couples and families and featuring Sound by Bose audio.
