Egyptian e-commerce technology company Fincart has raised an oversubscribed seed funding round co-led by Launch Africa and Antler MENAP, with participation from Yango Ventures, Five35 Ventures, Bluestream Capital, Hi2 Global, Kalahari Venture Labs and other investors.
The funding follows Fincart’s pre-seed round led by Plus VC and will support the company’s product development, expansion of its commercial and technology teams, and new partnerships.

Fincart has evolved from a platform connecting e-commerce merchants with last-mile delivery providers into an AI-powered operating system for merchants. The platform integrates with more than 40 shipping providers, while offering short-term cash advances and AI-powered tools designed to improve customer engagement and online sales.
“Everything we build starts with sitting down with merchants and understanding where they’re losing time, money, or customers. Most are juggling five or six disconnected tools just to run their business shipping, payments, customer engagement none of which talk to each other. We built Fincart to replace all of that with a single control panel where merchants can sell more, deliver faster, and manage their customers, without the friction of stitching tools together,” said Nihal Ali, COO and co-founder of Fincart.
The company currently serves more than 450 merchants and enterprise clients across categories including fashion, cosmetics, accessories and electronics. According to Fincart, its platform has facilitated the shipment and delivery of nearly EGP 1 billion ($20 million) in product GMV, while almost 40% of new customers have come through referrals without marketing spend over the past three years.
Founded by former Careem, Glovo, Vodafone and Delivery Hero professionals Mostafa Masry (CEO) and Nihal Ali (COO), Fincart said the new funding will strengthen its presence in Egypt and prepare the company for expansion into new markets in 2027.
