Pathways Technologies has unveiled Pathways Innovate 2026, a new initiative designed to help businesses, government agencies and organizations rapidly transform operational challenges into practical AI and data-driven solutions.
The program was launched under the theme “Build The Solution Your Business Has Been Waiting For,” and is inviting organizations to submit real-world business challenges that can be developed into scalable AI or data prototypes within an accelerated six-week innovation cycle.
According to the company, the initiative is intended to bridge the gap between ambitious digital transformation strategies and deployable solutions by allowing participants to collaborate directly with its engineering and AI teams.
Successful applicants will work alongside specialists from the Pathways AI Research Lab, the company’s dedicated innovation hub focused on applied artificial intelligence, fintech risk technologies and AI solutions addressing local and regional challenges.
The company says organizations selected for the program will receive support from data engineers, AI specialists and project managers capable of developing solutions spanning predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision and automated fintech applications.
Pathways Technologies will handle the engineering and development process, enabling organizations to validate ideas and deploy pilot solutions in a matter of weeks.
As a registered Data Processor with Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC), the company says all projects developed through the initiative will adhere to data privacy and ethical AI requirements.
Speaking during the launch, Joel Onditi, Group President and CEO of Pathways Technologies, said the initiative is intended to make the company’s research and engineering capabilities accessible to organizations seeking to solve operational challenges using AI.
“We are not just building technology; we are building the human and digital infrastructure that will power the future of African enterprise. With Pathways Innovate 2026, we are opening our research lab and engineering muscle to the public to help organizations and governments leverage data and AI to solve pressing operational challenges.”
Submissions for Pathways Innovate 2026 are now open, with businesses, government agencies, non-governmental organizations and innovators encouraged to submit use cases that could benefit from AI and advanced data technologies.
