Liquid C2 has unveiled Africa’s first Partner Experience Centre powered by Google Cloud in Johannesburg.

The new facility aims to push partners and resellers past conventional distribution methods. It provides an immersive, practical space for them to create, experiment with, and implement solutions specifically designed for the African market. Central to this effort is a structured onboarding process. This journey guides partners toward achieving official Google Cloud accreditation and certification.

At the core of the initiative is a structured onboarding journey that helps partners achieve official Google Cloud accreditation and certification. Participants will work alongside specialist engineers to build bespoke solutions. These solutions can then be commercialised through Liquid’s extensive distribution network.

The centre also provides access to advanced enterprise technologies, including Google Cloud’s Gemini AI capabilities and a dedicated “Gemini Playspace” for rapid experimentation. Partners will be able to prototype, test and scale solutions in real-world environments.

Ziaad Suleman, Senior Vice President at Cassava Technologies and CEO for South Africa and Botswana, said the centre reflects the company’s vision of building strong ecosystems that combine global innovation with local expertise. “By combining our infrastructure, expertise, and continental reach with Google Cloud’s advanced technologies, we are helping to democratise access to AI and cloud capabilities for enterprises across Africa,” he said.

Tara Brady, President of Google Cloud EMEA, described the launch as a pivotal moment in the company’s commitment to Africa. “The Partner Experience Centre is a testament to our belief in the power of a strong partner ecosystem. By combining our advanced AI capabilities, including our Gemini models, with Liquid C2’s localised expertise, we are not just building a facility; we are building a hub for innovation that will empower businesses, create jobs, and deliver the benefits of digital transformation to every corner of the continent,” he said.

The Partner Experience Centre will focus on three key pillars: accelerating partner enablement through hands-on training and proof-of-concept development; driving AI and technology innovation through dedicated experimentation and demonstration environments; and fostering economic growth by expanding the pool of certified professionals and creating new job opportunities.
