Nutanix, AWS and Datamellon Host Executive Workshop on Hybrid Cloud and AI in Lagos

Nutanix executive technology workshop

Nutanix recently partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Datamellon to host an executive technology workshop in Lagos. The workshop focused on hybrid cloud adoption, artificial intelligence (AI) and the future architecture of enterprise IT platforms.

Discussions centered on how organisations can modernise IT infrastructure while unlocking greater value from data and AI-driven insights.

According to Tunde Abagun, Sales Lead for West, East and Central Africa at Nutanix, African enterprises are increasingly moving beyond basic cloud adoption toward building more resilient digital platforms capable of supporting innovation and growth.

“Africa’s enterprise technology landscape is entering a new phase where organisations are looking beyond simple cloud adoption and focusing on building resilient digital platforms that support innovation and scale,” Abagun said. “Bringing together partners, customers and technology leaders in forums like this allows us to share practical insights and demonstrate how hybrid multicloud architectures can help organisations modernise infrastructure while unlocking new opportunities through data and artificial intelligence.”

During the event, technology specialists from Nutanix, AWS and Datamellon delivered presentations and demonstrations covering hybrid cloud migration strategies, modern application platforms and AI-powered business intelligence solutions.

Technical sessions also explored the architecture behind Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2), illustrating how organisations can connect private infrastructure with public cloud environments while maintaining operational consistency across hybrid environments.
