Gebeya has announced a strategic partnership with European domain registrar InterNetX to enable domain registration directly within its platforms, allowing African entrepreneurs, freelancers and small businesses to purchase domains using local payment methods.
The integration will embed InterNetX’s AutoDNS domain platform inside Gebeya’s ecosystem. This includes the Jitume AI service marketplace and the Dala Studio creator platform. Users will be able to search, purchase and manage domains without needing international credit cards or paying in foreign currencies.
Domain ownership across Africa is still low compared to other markets. Many entrepreneurs face challenges purchasing domains as most global registrars require payments to made through international cards or transactions in US dollars.
Gebeya says the integration addresses this gap by enabling domain purchases through local payment methods such as mobile money and other regional payment options. The company has already onboarded more than 90,000 users across its platforms.

Beyond domain registration, the integration will also provide SSL provisioning and domain management tools, allowing users to bundle domains, security certificates, and website services within a single workflow.
Gebeya says the partnership will support its long-term goal of scaling its ecosystem to one million users while providing entrepreneurs with the tools needed to establish a credible digital presence.
