Airtel Kenya has expanded its retail footprint with the opening of new customer care shops at Spur Mall and Nord Mall in Ruiru and at Galana Energies along the Eastern Bypass.
The telco says the move is aimed at reducing service turnaround time, improving in-person support and bringing its services closer to customers.
The expansion comes as Airtel targets doubling its customer service footprint in Kenya before the end of the year.
Speaking during the official opening at Spur Mall in Ruiru, Airtel Africa Group CEO Sunil Taldar said the expansion aligns with the company’s strategy of placing customers at the centre of its operations.
“Kenya’s digital growth story is central to this strategy, and strengthening our footprint in the country reflects our long-term confidence in the market,” he said.
Airtel Kenya Managing Director Ashish Malhotra added that physical outlets remain critical in supporting SMEs, resolving service queries efficiently and enabling greater participation in the digital economy.
Each service centre integrates mobile services, Airtel Money support, SIM services, device assistance, 5G solutions and enterprise support within a single customer experience environment.
