Infinix Note Edge Specifications and Price in Kenya

Infinix Note Edge Kenya

Infinix Note Edge Kenya

The Infinix Note Edge is the latest smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer to come to Kenya. The phone will be available in stores for Ksh 32,500. The price may vary from one retailer to another, so shop around before making a decision. This is the first smartphone to be powered by the new Dimensity 7100 chipset, the latest processor from MediaTek. The processor was unveiled earlier this month and comes with an octa-core CPU with four Arm Cortex-A78 cores clocking up to 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocking up to 2GHz.

Besides the processor, the Infinix Note Edge has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels. This display has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. This is a curved display with 120Hz refresh rate.

For the cameras, we have a single 50MP camera at the back and a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies. Both cameras support 1440p video recording (2K) at 30 frames per second. This camera combo is interesting and we will have to see real-world photos just to see how good they are. I am particularly interested to see how much software enhancement comes to play here.

Some additional features you can expect include Audio Tuned by JBL, a 6500 mAh battery that supports 45W charging, NFC support, IP65 dust-tight and water-resistant, just to name a few.

Have a look at the other key specifications below.

Is the Infinix Note Edge the Right Phone for You?

The Infinix Note Edge is made for those who want a premium-looking phone with very good battery life and a high-end display without paying flagship prices.

Its AMOLED 120Hz panel is one of the standout features within its price range. The Dimensity 7100 chipset delivers solid everyday performance for multitasking, social apps and casual gaming. With the 6500mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, you are looking at a phone that can easily last an entire day (or more) with heavy use.

On the downside, the single rear camera limits photography versatility. If you want ultra-wide or telephoto lenses, you will have to look higher up the range.
