iColo has announced the appointment of Wanja Muriithi as its new General Manager in Kenya. The company says the appointment is part of its plan to accelerate business growth in the country and strengthen Digital Realty’s footprint across East Africa. Digital Realty already operates in Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique and South Africa and Kenya remains a key market for its regional expansion.

Muriithi will report to Marcel Louw, Managing Director for Africa at Digital Realty. The company highlighted her record of delivering operational excellence, providing strategic direction and driving sales growth while maintaining a strong focus on both customers and employees.

She has worked in the ICT sector for years, gaining experience in leadership and sales roles at Microsoft, Tarsus Technologies and Isolutions Associates, where she served as Managing Director. Before joining iColo, Muriithi was the Country General Manager at Tano Digital Kenya, a role she held for seven years.

“I am delighted that Wanja has decided to join our iColo team as we move towards achieving our business goals. As we continue to think global and act local, she will be a great fit for this role,” said Louw.

Muriithi said she was inspired by iColo’s growth over the last decade and looks forward to supporting the next phase of expansion. She noted that she is eager to engage customers, understand their colocation requirements, and explore how the company can strengthen its support for businesses in the region.
