TCL Electronics has announced the launch of the C8K QD-Mini LED TV in Kenya.

TCL East Africa Director, Alvin Wang, says the new models embody TCL’s focus on innovation and delivering premium viewing experiences. “The launch of the C8K in Kenya is a testament to TCL’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in home entertainment. We aim to deliver products that blend elegant design, powerful performance, and immersive experiences that truly resonate with our consumers,” he said.

The C8K introduces the world’s first fourth-generation Zero Border QD-Mini LED design, delivering a near borderless display. The TV is powered by TCL’s Skywork architecture and features up to 3,840 local dimming zones and HDR brightness levels of 5,000 nits. Its CrystGlow WHVA Panel boosts color accuracy by 40%, reduces reflections and maintains clarity from any angle. The TSR AiPQ Processor uses AI-driven optimization to produce lifelike imagery. The 144Hz refresh rate on the other hand ensures ultra-smooth motion, ideal for sports and gaming.

Earlier this year, TCL also launched the C7K Series, with 2,880 local dimming zones, 3,000-nit HDR brightness and All-Domain Halo Control Technology. Its CrystGlow HVA Panel delivers a wide 178-degree viewing angle and a native contrast ratio of 7000:1. All this is achieved in a sleek design under 60mm thick.

Both series integrate high-end audio systems from Bang & Olufsen and ONKYO. They also feature BeoSonic sound personalization, Golden Ear tuning and Hi-End speakers for an immersive cinematic experience.

The C8K and C7K QD-Mini LED TVs are now available in leading retail stores across Kenya.
