How to Get Connected to Safaricom Home Fibre

We have covered the first step which involves confirming that coverage is available in your area. Dial *400# and follow the prompts or call the number on the Home Fibre poster you see close to your house. You can also fill the online form on the online coverage map with your name, phone number and other key details and Safaricom will get back to you. 

Safaricom will get back to you and send a technician for the installation.  When the installation is done, you will be able to activate and proceed with payments and enjoy the service. 

How to Pay for Safaricom Home Fibre

Now that you have a fibre connection, knowing the available payment options is a must. You can dial *400#, Select Home Fibre and then Pay

You can also pay using the mySafaricom App by selecting the HOME Internet tab. 

You also have the option of paying directly using the M-Pesa payBill number 150501. With this, you have to:

  1. Go to M-PESA Menu > Lipa na M-PESA > PayBill.
  2. Enter 150501 as the business number.
  3. Use your Home Fibre Account Number as the account number.
  4. Enter the amount (depending on your package)
  5. Complete the transaction.

Yes. You can change your package anytime by dialling 400#. If the package you start with is not enough, you can upgrade and if it is too much, you can always downgrade. 

3. Is there a setup fee?
Safaricom does charge installation or connection fees.
