Anza Grow Academy is now accepting applications for the Cohort 7 program. This is a 12-week program designed to equip creative and impact-driven founders with the right knowledge, tools and mentorship needed to help accelerate their ventures.

If you have a startup you want featured on TechArena, let us know through this contact form here.

    What the Program Offers

This program incorporates expert mentorship, peer learning and practical business tools that the founders may find helpful. The selected participants will be guided by industry professionals and will have the chance to gain skills in financial modeling, product development and market positioning. They will also have a chance to refine their pitches for funding opportunities.

According to the official announcement on LinkedIn, Cohort 7 will continue the academy’s mission of bridging knowledge gaps and supporting entrepreneurs building sustainable businesses.

African startups have seen a slowdown in venture funding over the last couple of years. Many of the investors involved demand stronger fundamentals before they commit any capital. Programs like Anza Grow Academy are filling a critical gap by equipping founders with the financial discipline and business models required to withstand investor scrutiny.

Incubators and accelerators have become vital entry points for young companies that lack access to traditional networks in markets such as Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa. Anza Grow Academy positions itself as a complementary platform to investor-backed accelerators such as Y Combinator and Techstars by focusing on practical business foundations rather than only pitching.

Applications for Cohort 7 are open until September 30, 2025. Founders accepted into the program will begin their 12-week journey later in the year.

Programs like Anza Grow Academy represent a critical step toward long-term sustainability for startups that want to build resilient, scalable ventures in Africa’s challenging but opportunity-rich markets.
