    The itel City 100 was recently launched in Kenya and it stands out as one of the first smartphones with DeepSeek R1 model. The phone is available in Kenya starting from Ksh 11,200 for the 4GB RAM variant that comes with 128GB of internal storage space. This is not a bad deal, especially for the first device in the itel CITY Series.

    The itel City 100 offers Deepseek AI to support intelligent interaction scenarios powered by itel AI. This enables users to transform texts into custom wallpapers or stylize their favourite images with AI creativity, while also enjoying various AI assistant services, such as one-press AI search for shopping or help, instant AI translation, image-to-text conversion, AI writing, AI call noise reduction, and AI voice snap.

    For the key specs, the City 100 has a 6.75-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is also powered by the Unisoc T7250 processor with Android 14, Pure 14.5 OS among other features.
