iXAfrica has today announced the appointment of Amit Singh as the new Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO). He has over two decades of global experience in scaling enterprise partnerships, hyperscale engagements and market expansion in the technology and infrastructure sectors.

Amit will be instrumental in deepening our relationships with hyperscalers, enterprise businesses, telecom operators, cloud providers and governments. He has a proven track record in identifying untapped opportunities, unlocking strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth across diverse markets.

He will be responsible for shaping iXAfrica’s enterprise ecosystem, strengthening our role as the trusted digital gateway into East Africa and beyond. The company is currently at a crucial stage as it accelerates to its next growth stage from its AI-Ready NBOX1 campus in Nairobi to a broader pan-African vision of sustainable, secure, and scalable digital infrastructure.

Amit brings over 26 years of rich industry experience, having worked with leading organizations such as Airtel, Reliance Communications and Tata Teleservices. He has held key leadership positions at Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, Zenlayer India, and CtrlS Datacenters. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President – Edge & Network Business at CtrlS India – a tier 4-rated data center. Before that, he was the Managing Director at Zenlayer, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the business across the IMEA region.

This strategic appointment underscores iXAfrica’s commitment to building resilient infrastructure, attracting world-class talent and enabling the next wave of AI and cloud innovation across the continent.
